Gillian joined Weber Shandwick in 2014 and leads social impact and global health projects for clients including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Global Citizen, Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB & Malaria, Plan International and GSK. Her focus areas include global campaigning, creative, behaviour change, and resource mobilisation with expertise in infectious diseases, inequality, vaccines, gender, and malnutrition.

Recently, Gillian led the international team for One World: Together at Home, a COVID-19 benefit concert from Global Citizen to raise funds for the WHO, curated by Lady Gaga as well as the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB & malaria's 6th Replenishment Campaign, hosted by President Macron of France. With a speciality in managing global teams Gillian has worked in Abuja, Nairobi, Abidjan, Kinshasa, Mexico City, Delhi, Dhaka and Hanoi, among others. In 2016, she was seconded to the Johannesburg office where she worked on projects for Save the Children, the RTS,S malaria vaccine, GSK South Africa and nutrition projects for the United Nations including capacity building in local communities.

Previously, Gillian worked for Carr Communications in Dublin, Congressman Patrick Kennedy in Washington D.C and for the American Medical Association in Chicago. She has a degree in Economics and Political Science and a Master’s in Media and International Conflict.
