Ary Ganeshalingam recently joined Change Please Coffee as their CMO after 20 years working with multiple international beer, wine and spirits brands globally - and originally starting life agency side with DDB Sydney. The move to Change Please Coffee was driven by the brand’s incredible purpose to end homelessness. Change Please is a brand where social enterprise and coffee expertise blend. Every award- winning cup brewed — and every cup bought — helps change someone’s life for the better. 100% of profits go into giving people experiencing homelessness, a living wage job, housing, training, onwards opportunities — and a fresh shot at a life. He has been brought into build the brand globally as they look to expand into new markets outside of the UK.
Previously, Ary was Global Brand Director for Chivas Regal at Pernod Ricard, where in addition to his work in developing creative campaigns around the world and driving the brand’s first global sports partnership with Manchester United; he also led the Chivas Venture. This project annually funded US$1m into budding social enterprises around the world, impacting over 100 inspiring businesses and transforming 2 million lives in over 50 countries. It is also through this that he met the founder and winner of the 2018 Chivas Venture, Cemal Ezel from Change Please, so beginning his love for the brand and its incredible story.
