But how do you get people to feel motivated about helping when it means not doing much at all? By showing how their input, however easy, helps make a difference in the fight against cancer. We wanted Dreamlab users to feel heroic.
The #SleepLikeAHero campaign captured the attention of over 18 million – showing how anyone can be a hero in the fight against cancer simply by downloading the app, charging their phone and going to bed.
The success of the campaign – helping to improve cancer treatment effectiveness, was dependant on inspiring a community of normal everyday users eager to fight one of society’s biggest threats. Over 10 million calculations later, Imperial College London has uncovered vital information identifying anti-cancer molecules in certain food types.
