The Like Minded created the #UnderstandMore animation for Autistica to celebrate World Autism Awareness Day in 2019. The video was created at every stage in partnership with a community of autistic teenagers, adults and the carers of children with profound autisim.
The immersive sensory animation enables the viewer to experience the challenges faced by autistic people and to better understand the positive attributes they can bring to the communities they live in.
#UnderstandMore aimed to improve the lives of autistic people, encourage more people to engage in the research undertaken by Autistica and to drive a wider conversation in society.
The campaign results exceeded expectations acheiving a global reach and a significant increase in autistic people joining the research community
