Kesah Trowell, Group Head of Corporate Social Responsibility

Kesah has over 25 years of experience in Communications, PR and CSR.

Before joining Carphone Warehouse in 2009 as Communications Channel Manager, she held key communications roles at Wrexham County Borough Council and TfL, where she worked directly for the Transport Commissioner and Surface Transport MD. In 2008 she achieved an ‘outstanding achievement’ financial award from TfL and recognition from the UK Government Information Office for the successful design and delivery of an innovative integrated internal communications strategy to drive business objectives across Surface Transport.

Dubbed “Probably the most creative person in Carphone Warehouse” by the CPW HR Director, Kesah created Carphone Warehouse’s CSR function from scratch through dogged determination and leveraging collaborative sponsorship opportunities, picking up a number of national and European awards along the way. Kesah regularly acts a judge for major awards, most recently the Corporate Engagement Awards and European Sponsorship Awards.

Kesah is the driving force behind Dixons Carphone’s new CSR programme called Live Earth Neutral and passionately believes in the power of authentic, informative and energising stakeholder engagement to drive results.
